The Youth Justice team was delighted to award Everards with the “Youth Justice Award” at Leicestershire Cares Annual Celebration Event 2025.
The event provided us with the opportunity to network with our business members and provide insight on the various projects within Leicestershire Cares. This year, Everards won the award because they have consistently supported a range of events organised by the Youth Justice Team. They were also able to provide a young person with work experience as well as a job.
Everards are really honoured to have won the Youth Justice Award; we have been involved in a few events that Leicestershire Cares that the Youth Justice Team have arranged. They are great way for the young people to see their potential and to help them to reach their goals.
Jenny Hailes- HR Assistant
We are grateful to Everards for their continued support and contributions to our youth justice events. Jenny Hailes has been instrumental in organizing a recruitment day and has also facilitated an interview and work experience for a young person which eventually culminated in a job. We are grateful to Jenny for extending hope to our participants and we encourage other businesses to think about ways they can also “deal in hope”. We look forward to working with Everards and other businesses on future events.
