#TogetherWeCare at Christmas

2020 has been an unprecedented year and all of us have been affected in some way. Events have shown us that all elements of our lives can be vulnerable in a pandemic, from travel and socialising restrictions to schools closing and worry and uncertainty about jobs and health.

Some areas of society have been harder hit by an increase in unemployment and food poverty, mental health issues, loneliness and isolation and it is these individuals that we intend to help this Christmas through our annual Collect 4 Christmas appeal.

We will be distributing Together We Care Packages across the city and county to lift the spirits and spread a little joy to some of those that are having a challenging time. The packages will be distributed to vulnerable young adults, older people who have been affected financially or through isolation and loneliness and to those in need of wellbeing support.

As many of our business partners, their staff and their families are not able to collect items for the packages we have set up a donation page so everyone can support. Donations can be anything from £1. If you would like to give a donation please see the link below.

Now more then ever we need business, community and local government to work together so nobody is left behind. Which is why we are asking our friends in the business sector to support our Collect 4 Christmas campaign so we can share some hope and inspiration to people in need across our city and county.
