Leicestershire Cares’ recent Dare to Care fundraising evening, held at the beautiful Winstanley House in Leicester, proved to be an inspiring celebration of community spirit, generosity, and the powerful connections that bring local people, businesses, and young people together.
Set in the stunning surroundings of one of Leicester’s most iconic venues, the event brought supporters from all sectors under one roof for an unforgettable evening filled with delicious food, live music, games, a raffle and a silent auction.. From start to finish, the room was full of energy, laughter and a shared sense of purpose.
Guests enjoyed a warm, welcoming atmosphere as they heard stories about the impact of our programmes, supporting young people into employment, education and training, helping businesses give back through volunteering, and strengthening communities through partnership working. The evening was not only a chance to celebrate what we’ve achieved together, but also an opportunity to look ahead at what more we can do when businesses, communities, and young people collaborate.
Dare to Care was a fantastic success. It was heart-warming to see so many people come together to celebrate our work and show such generosity. Nights like this remind us of the power of community, and the impact we can make when we stand together for young people.
