Neetu has played a key role in promoting our #TogetherWeCan approach to youth and community work and this has led to a wide range of projects and initiatives being developed and delivered by community groups, young people, business, and public sector working together in creative and agile partnership. This has included distributing essential items to over 2000 people and families in need, mental health art groups, food and homework clubs for asylum seeking young people , linking business and community to tackle the community divide , supporting community football teams and a wide range of online support and activities during lock down. In addition , Neetu is currently working with a network of community partners to strengthen their capacity and to enable them to be better able to both meet local need and share issues and concerns with key local decision makers.
I am thrilled to be shortlisted for this award and the recognition it gives to the work of all our partners who have worked together so nobody is left behind
