The Joining Up, Joining In (JUJI) group has been making waves with its incredible work! They have
- successfully campaigned to have care experience recognised as a protected characteristic
- created the powerful film Change the Script, Change the Script Film
- taken their voices to Westminster (see below) to challenge the ‘local connection’ rules that make it harder for care-experienced young people to access housing support outside their original care area.

Now, they’re embarking on an exciting new project—My Care Journey!
This will be fresh, engaging, and impactful—because the group has declared no more boring booklets! It will explore big questions like:
- Does being in care have a positive side?
- Is everyone in care treated equally?
- How does it shape your future?
- Does it make you different?
The JUJI group has teamed up with Simon at Sandstar. So, keep an eye out—things are about to take off in the next couple of weeks!
