Leicestershire Cares were delighted to support a wonderful festive visit where Motability invited a group of young people aged 16+ from alternative provision Enstruct Training to their Coalville site.
Enstruct Training is an alternative provision that delivers multi-skills training designed to help young people develop confidence, practical skills and readiness for the future. This visit provided a valuable opportunity for students to experience a professional working environment, meet industry staff and explore potential career pathways in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Motability went above and beyond to ensure the visit felt special from the moment the group arrived. The conference room had been thoughtfully transformed into a beautiful festive space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere ready for a Christmas dinner. Enstruct students and staff were treated to a lovely meal, lovingly prepared by the Motability team, with Motability staff sitting alongside them throughout. This created a relaxed environment where great conversations flowed, and students felt comfortable sharing what they do day-to-day at college, as well as their hopes and aspirations for the future. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was friendly and inclusive, and the care taken to make everyone feel welcome was clear.
Following the Christmas dinner, General Manager Ian kindly led an in-depth tour of the Motability factory for Enstruct staff and students. Ian explained the different processes involved in making vehicle adaptations ready for purchase, offering a fascinating insight into the business. The students were extremely impressed by the attention to detail in each area and by the range of top-of-the-line technology used by staff. The tour was exciting, extremely visual and full of modern vehicles, sparking curiosity and confidence among the young people. They asked thoughtful questions throughout, clearly demonstrating how engaged and comfortable they felt in the environment.
After the tour, everyone returned upstairs to enjoy homemade desserts and admire the lovely selection of gifts that had been generously prepared by the Motability team. The relaxed conversations continued, building on connections made earlier in the day. Thanks to the positive discussions shared over the meal, there are already plans in place for Motability and Enstruct Training to work more closely together in 2026, something we are incredibly excited about.
In addition to hosting this fantastic visit, Motability also made a generous contribution to the Bags of Hope 2025 campaign. These bags, filled with festive goodies, were distributed to local organisations Enrych and Feed The Need, helping to spread Christmas cheer to people across the community. Motability’s continued commitment to giving back locally is truly appreciated.
Leicestershire Cares would like to extend a huge thank you to Rebecca Green and the entire Motability team for their generosity, warmth and effort in making this visit so memorable. We are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support and are very much looking forward to continuing our work together throughout 2026.
