The Youth Justice team was delighted to award Nelsons with the “Business Contribution to the Youth Justice Project Award” at Leicestershire Cares Annual Celebration Event 2024.
The event provided us with the opportunity to network with our business members and provide insight into the various projects within Leicestershire Cares. This year, Nelsons Law won the award because of their consistent support in a range of events organised by the Youth Justice Team.
Nelsons were absolutely thrilled to be awarded the Business Contribution to the Youth Justice Project Award 2024 at the Leicestershire Cares Annual Celebration Event. It has been a true honour and privilege to work with the young people involved with the Phoenix Project and VIP Project, and we have been incredibly impressed by them all. Giving back to these young people, supporting them on their way to a better future, and bolstering their confidence is an incredible thing to be able to do, and we are proud to have been a part of it in 2024. Nelsons very much look forward to our continued involvement in future projects. Our thanks, as ever, to the Leicestershire Cares team who make these opportunities to give back to our local community possible, and who work so hard to engage the young people and push them to dream big. Particular thanks must go to Chikodi and Jennifer, who led the way with these projects and are an absolute credit to Leicestershire Cares and a joy to work with.
Danielle Young-Legal Director and Solicitor
We are grateful to Nelsons for their continued support and contributions to our employability events. One of our events was a mock interview at Nelsons Law. Danielle was very efficient in organising a team of 5 employees who graciously gave up their time to interview our young people. Participants in attendance were provided with a real experience of how it feels to attend an interview in an unfamiliar environment and they found the feedback useful. We look forward to working with Nelsons Law on future events.

We would also like to thank our finalists Stepnell, HRBS, and Walker and Sons.
We look forward to working more closely with your organisations.
