We were delighted to present Jenny Hailes of Everards with our Volunteer of the year award at our annual celebration and awards night. Jenny has been an absolute “star” who has won the admiration of staff, young people, and community partners with her kind and empathetic approach.
In presenting the award Kieran Breen, our CEO shared, it is always difficult picking out one volunteer to win this award as all the nominees have done so much great work but:
Jenny has been the living embodiment of a committed , passionate, and effective volunteer, who has been able to connect with and inspire young people and community partners with her fun and engaging way. It has been a real pleasure working with and learning from her
