Here at Leicestershire Cares we are starting to plan our Annual Celebration Night – an evening where we celebrate our brilliant business members and their wonderful volunteers. The event is in September and is held at Winstanley Hall, who kindly let us use the beautiful space for free.
This year we have 14 award categories covering all three strands of our work – community, education and youth work – and gives us a chance to showcase our business members and the individuals that really stand out and to thank them for their support.
For our education awards we have Outstanding Contribution to Interview Technique, Outstanding contribution to Employability, Outstanding Contribution to work with SEND students and the Education Volunteer of the Year. Our community awards this year are Community Development Company of the Year and Community Development Volunteer of the Year. We also have our awards for individuals who have supported our youth work: Outstanding Contribution to NEET Young People, Outstanding Contribution to work with Young Offenders and Outstanding Contribution to work with Care Experienced Young People.
