As part of the Altogether Now project at Leicestershire Cares, Some of our young people were invited to the Leicester Tigers vs Newcastle Falcons game at Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium. Jenny Hailes of Everards Brewery, generously hosted us in the Club 1880 Suite for a delicious 3 course meal followed by an exciting 80minutes of live rugby . For many of the young people, it was their first time attending a major sporting event—an experience they’ll never forget.
Looking ahead
This trip is just one of many enrichment activities offered through the Altogether Now project, which aims to support young people with SEND in building confidence, developing life skills, and moving toward positive outcomes in education, employment or training.
