Sam joined the Leicestershire Cares Content Creator Group after feeling isolated post-pandemic and being new to the UK after emigrating from Nigeria and was unsure how to pursue his interests in music and digital art. With ambitions to continue his academic studies at college and attempt to build a music career he sought both social connection and guidance on navigating educational pathways.

From the outset, Sam immersed himself in weekly sessions that offered collaborative projects, music production tutorials, digital media workshops, and one-to-one mentoring. The inclusive, youth-led environment gave him a safe space to explore his creative identity.
