The Community Development Team are pulling out all the stops on this year’s Festive Challenges campaign, collaborating with businesses and our community group partners to support events that bring joy and cheer into people’s lives this festive season.
With the support of our business members, we have already completed 6 Festive Challenges, ranging from sumptuous buffet lunches, to an afternoon decorating a Leicester City community centre, to an elderly people’s group getting a visit from the one and only Santa Clause!
This fantastic campaign puts Leicestershire Cares’ “Power to Change” model into practice. On the Community Development Team, we build partnerships between businesses, community groups, and service-providers in order to make a positive difference in disadvantaged communities.
