Neetu wins the Together Award at BBC Radio Leicester’s inaugural Make a Difference community Awards

17 Oct 2022

Neetu was delighted to win the Together Award at BBC Radio Leicester’s inaugural Make a Difference community Awards. The packed ceremony took place at the Grand Hotel on Saturday 15th October , and was attended by a sea of lovely people who have all done amazing things to make our city and county a better place for all.

The awards were an inspirational afternoon, where people and organisations who have stepped up and supported their communities and neighbours, had their efforts recognised and celebrated.

The ceremony was a reminder of just how much, talent, creativity, and grounded knowledge there is in our communities and neighbourhoods

There was very strong field of nominees, but one nominee (Neetu) stood out for the breadth of her work and the tenacity she shows in making things happen

I am humbled to have been nominated alongside so many great organisations and in truth everyone here today is a winner, so to actually win is such an honour, but also a reminder of what can be achieved when we work together

Neetu Squire Head of Community Development
