YES Project Quarter Success Update

21 Jan 2022

The YES Project team continued to support NEET YP in education, employment and training outcomes by working creatively and collaboratively with their partners and business volunteers.

This quarter we resumed our World of work tours with a visit to Everyone Active in Wigston, where our young people got insight into what it is like to work in the leisure industry. Our young people left feeling inspired, we plan on delivering monthly World of Work Tours throughout 2022.

The Yes Team continued to have GET STUFF done and delivered specific employability sessions, including CV Clinics and Job Search & Apply workshops. We have seen that Participants are re-engaging with the project and achieving successful outcomes into employment and training.

We worked collectively and reached the bottom of the waiting list of referrals, signing up more participants and being able to support delivery partners with more cross-referrals

It was interesting, the advice they’ve given us and learning why they chose the industry whether it was retail, fitness or lifeguarding was inspiring.
