We have partnered with Reaching People’s Refurb project , to encourage local business community to encourage staff to donate unwanted, old laptops, tablets and digital phones, to people in need. Reaching people collect the equipment, wipe it clean and refurbish as needed and then pass them on to people with need, through their network of community partners, who also offer support to the recipient, developing digital skills.
Increasingly, whether, you are job hunting, trying to book a doctor’s appointment, dealing with the council, paying bills or simply trying to stay in touch with friends and family, you do need to be digitally connected and this project makes that possible.
This is a simple, effective and green way to tackle the digital divide and we urge everyone who has an old laptop, tablet or phone to get in touch with Reaching People now
