Impressive outcome for young people on the UP Project this quarter

22 Jan 2021

Despite the effects covid-19 has had on us all, we at the UP Project have continued to support our participants by taking an agile and creative approach. This quarter we have seen some fantastic outcomes with 8 participants securing full and part time employment, several gained functional skills qualifications and 6 successfully passed the CSCS test to begin a career in construction. Housing support continues to be offered and 6 participants were supported to obtain accommodation. We continue to actively work in partnership with several charitable and statutory services to support young people involved in the criminal justice system to ensure nobody is left behind. We are interested to speak to anyone who is keen to volunteer and offer support in the next month to young people age between 16 and 25 years of age.
