The Community Development Team at Leicestershire Cares were delighted to present Jackie Penney from Ford and Slater a Golden Heart Certificate in recognition for her outstanding contribution towards a Holiday Hunger Scheme which ran for 6-weeks over the summer holidays this year.
Jackie really supported the scheme by volunteering most hours at the church making pack lunches for disadvantaged children across the city of Leicester and also supported and volunteered at their local food bank.
