Tonight at our Chill & Chat session it was a lovely opportunity for staff and young people on the Powering Up Project (Care experience) | Leicestershire Cares to come together to celebrate a positive year. Not only have there been many positive outcomes for our young people there has also been many relationships established both with the young people we support and our partners across education and children services in Leicester, Leicester & Rutland across the year. These relationships gave us the opportunity to see such a diverse group of care experienced young people come together as one to celebrate the festive period. Tonight's session was attended by young people attending Leicester College, Demonfort University and its great to see such a mix of young people coming together.

Every young person who attended tonight's session took part in a range of activities from playing board games, to sitting together to enjoy a Christmas dinner, followed by a trip The Little Theatre to watch Aladdin. It was a lovely evening and great to see so many smiles on peoples faces.
I would like to say a big thank you to staff and young people who attended and took part in tonight's event.
