Over the past month, Leicestershire Cares' Community Development team has been actively collecting and delivering Easter eggs to more than 1000 children and adults who might have otherwise missed out.
This was part of the annual Easter Eggstravaganza campaign, where the team collaborated with 19 business members who generously donated a total of 1430 eggs, crafts and chocolate treats. The team then thoughtfully distributed these Easter goodies to 27 different community groups across Leicester and Leicestershire, including youth groups, sports clubs, the sick and vulnerable, refugees and food banks for those who are struggling during these difficult times.
Leicestershire Cares would like to thank all of the businesses that took part and supported this worth-while campaign.
All of the eggs, crafts and treats where gratefully received with smiling faces and open arms.
