Our new Community and Business Development Officer has been actively engaging with business members and community groups over the past three months. Through these conversations, we have been able to identify interesting and exciting ideas and opportunities that we can take advantage of and develop, in the forthcoming year.
During this time, a business member worked closely with a local community centre to renovate their garden. The centre had a large garden area that wasn't being utilised to its full potential. They requested assistance in transforming it into a community garden that is easy to maintain, accessible to locals, and can be used by visitors and groups. Their goal was to cater to the needs of children and families in the community by providing support for garden-related activities. The event was highly successful!
The team did an absolutely fantastic job on Thursday! The garden looks wonderful.
