We were delighted to present Chris Oakes , Alltruck plc with our Leicestershire Cares’ Volunteer of the Year Award 2023, at our annual awards and celebration.
Chris had already won an award, earlier in the evening for the great work he has delivered supporting our work with care experienced young people. Presenting the award, Kieran Breen our CEO, shared:
We have always had a good relationship with Alltruck, but since he became our “Champion” at Alltruck, Chris has shown passion, determination and creativity in enabling his colleagues to support our education, youth and community projects. He has also been willing to step up and share his skills and knowledge with young people and other business partners. In doing so he has been a real inspiration and we are looking forward to partnering with Chris and his colleagues at Alltruck in the years to come

Humbled and honoured, at a personal level I get a lot out of volunteering with Leicestershire Cares and Alltruck are committed to building on our partnership so we can do even more to support young people and community groups
