A bright idea

Today we had our friendly local electrician, Nick, come and replace some bulbs that had stopped working in the Community Development office. They were the huge, old fashioned, strip lighting and we had been waiting for them to go so we could replace them with LED bulbs. LED bulbs use up to 90% less energy than incandescent bulbs, saving money and reducing our carbon emissions by 90% at the same time! They also have an average lifespan of 17 years, so really just a great thing to do for many reasons.
