Capacity Building for the VCSE Sector

Leicestershire Cares invites you to the launch of The Together Project – The National Lottery Community Funded initiative enabling VCSE sector organisations to access business advice and skills share support to deliver their services more effectively.

We would like to invite you to attend our first workshop as this will give you an opportunity to network with other VCSE groups to discuss obstacles you may be facing and to hear about possible solutions with our event partners Hinckley and Rugby Building Society and Reaching People. There will be an opportunity after the session for one to one’s with the partners.

Come along to find out more from the CEO Colin Fyfe about the Hinckley & Rugby Building Society innovative offering to local charities through the launch of its Charity Accumulator deposit accounts. As well as hearing how, you can maximise the return on your reserves, learn how Hinckley & Rugby staff are offering charities practical support and advice using their substantial knowledge, skills and experience of running a business.

Reaching People brings together frontline delivery partners, managers and CEOs from the Voluntary and Community Sector in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. They have a commitment to lasting change through their consortium and supports with funding, training, promotion of opportunities, leadership development and more. At the workshop Jenny Hand CEO will explore the benefits of membership to Reaching People.

As part of The Together Project we want to ascertain what business skills support you may be looking to develop. Please could you complete this questionnaire, it should only take 5 mins and will enable us to provide the most appropriate workshops for you over the next year - - Cut off date for completion will be Friday the 21st of February.
