Leicestershire Cares is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Project Development Officer to deliver and develop our Youth Employability Support (YES) Project. Leicestershire Cares is one of nine local organisations working together to deliver the YES Project in Leicester and Leicestershire. The aim of the project is to support young people aged 15-24 to take steps towards employment.
If you enjoy working with young people, are creative, entrepreneurial, ambitious, resilient, committed to making a change and want to lead and develop young person-centred projects, we would like to hear from you.
Your enthusiasm will be matched by your organisational and planning abilities and your ability to work in partnership with a wide range of organisations and business partners.
The project will give you opportunities to network locally and feed into policy and practice debates.
Given the nature of this post an enhanced DBS check will be carried out.

Job Description: YES Project Officer Job Description
Salary: £23-25k per annum depending on experience.
Job type: Full-time fixed term contract until the end of February 2022, with possibly of extension until 2023
Closing date: 11pm on Monday 21st June
Interview date: Friday 2nd July face-to-face at our offices in Leicester (will be held virtually if restrictions change)
