Member Firms are Christmas Stars!

Our Leicestershire and Rutland member firms and their employee volunteers have taken part in a record number of Festive Challenges to make it a cracker of a Christmas for charities and community groups across the two counties. Community Safety Case Study – Carlton

Carlton Chokufa was referred to Leicestershire Cares in May 2015 through the Probation service.  He was interviewed and accepted onto the Community Safety Work Placement Scheme. Leicestershire Cares secured an interview for him with the University of Leicester for a two week placement in painting and decorating.  Carlton made a great impression at the interview so was offered a placement at the University.  During his placement Carlton was constantly punctual and an extremely hard worker; he completed the placement successfully and the University were very pleased with his attitude and...
