On Tuesday 21st September, 6 students from Crown Hills Community College were invited on an Employ Me! Tour of Lexus in Leicester. The tour was led by Richard Rhodes, Head of Business, and began in the company’s board room with an introduction to job roles within the organisation. Career pathways for Receptionists, Service Technicians, Sales Executives and Administration staff were presented to the students with an explanation of how each role contributes to a good customer experience overall. Employability Project at Beaumont Leys School

The 3rd and 5th February saw our next round of Employability Project sessions take place at Beaumont Leys School. 210 students took part in workshops including problem solving, attitude and skills which were led by 26 volunteers from companies including Nylacast, Aurum, Bradgate Bakery, Sytner, Leicester City Council and Access Group. The 17th September saw Leicestershire Cares Employability Project roll out at another city school. 156 students  at New College Leicester spent the day taking part in workshops for skills, team work and customer services. Monica’s 10th Anniversary celebrations end with a bang

On Wednesday 9th April, the Leicestershire Cares team unveiled their final surprise for Director Monica’s 10th anniversary – a blast off at Bardon Quarry! Monica was delighted to discover that the surprise party we arranged in January was not the only thing we had planned.
