Member Firms are Christmas Stars!

Our Leicestershire and Rutland member firms and their employee volunteers have taken part in a record number of Festive Challenges to make it a cracker of a Christmas for charities and community groups across the two counties. ASA staff roll up their sleeves for local charity

16 staff from the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) Club Development team volunteered together to complete a Team Challenge to support the work of the Redgate Farm Animal Sanctuary, Coalville. The aim of the day was to help create a brighter, fresher environment at the Farm and encourage further visits by prospective charity supporters and animal adopters. Marathon effort for Vista’s ‘secret garden’

A team of five staff from the blind and partially sighted charity Vista’s Kathleen Rutland Home in Leicester Forest East are running a half marathon to raise money so their elderly residents can enjoy a woodland walk in their garden. In his mid 60s, Paul Sykes, the manager of the home in Leicester Forest East, is taking part in his first half marathon, alongside colleagues Demi Ball, Lorna Lynch, Georgia Vincent and Hannah Poyser.
