Team Challenges
Information for Employee Volunteer Teams
Team Challenges are one-day practical projects involving up to 11 employee volunteers with a Team Leader.
Examples of Team Challenges include: painting and decorating a run down community room; creating a working allotment for a charity and its service users; assisting with making an outdoor learning area for primary schools; reclamation of ponds and nature walks; providing a fun day out for disabled residents; and providing entertainment and activities within a residential home.
Most businesses encourage general 'team building' activities amongst thier employees. Team Challenges are a great opportunity for such activities as well as being a chance to give something back to your local community, have a positive impact on an organisation or area, and leave something sustainable behind. Are you a Voluntary or Community Group seeking Practical Help?
If you have a potential Team Challenge, please complete and return a Team Challenge Fax-Back Information Request Form.
We will then arrange to visit you and the proposed project to discuss what is required.
In most cases Team Challenges provide 'volunteer power' for a project, however it may also be possible for teams to fundraise for resources to complete a challenge.
Please note that we are unable to support requests involving construction or electrical work.
