Collect 4 Christmas
Collect 4 Christmas is a Leicestershire Cares annual campaign which identifies a worthwhile cause and asks member organisations for their support raising money for gifts or practical items for the selected organisation.
2007's Appeal
2007's appeal supported Toys On The Table. Almost 20 member organisations raised money to buy gifts for children that were unlikely to receive a gift from any other source. Over 1800 toys and gifts were donated and the total value of donations reached a staggering £14,009!!
2008's Appeal
This year we are supporting Barnardo's CareFree Project. This project works with Young Carers'. These are children who help to look after a member of the family who is sick, disabled, has mental health problems, learning disabilities or alcohol/ drug dependency.
